This study is centered on documenting local perceptions on the factors, costs and challenges related to overweight and obesity in the municipality of La Paz. Special emphasis was placed on identifying the impacts these conditions exhort on public health and the economy.

In 2016, the Municipal Food Security Committee of La Paz presented a proposal entitled Food Distribution Centers. This study seeks to identify different appreciations of the proposal and is based on interviews conducted with representatives from a variety of food system actors.
